24 Nov Spicy Black Currant Gløgg
Makes 4 cups
4 cups frozen or fresh black currants
4 cups water
1/3 cup sugar
2 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
1.Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
2.Remove from heat and let stipe for 20 minutes.
3.Strain into a bowl using a fine sifter, use a spoon to mash the berries so you get all the juices and flavors.
4.Pour into a clean bottle.
Can be used warm or cold.
Will keep for 10 days in the fridge.
