
24 Nov Herbs and Lemon Butter
A great gift to any food lover.
The butter is perfect for a steak, chicken or a piece of salmon.
Makes two logs.
2 sticks Vermont Creamery Cultured Butter Sea Salt
2 tablespoons chopped herbs like dill, thyme, sage, marjoram, parsley etc
grated zest from 1 organic lemon
1 teaspoon pink pepper corns
2 sheets payment paper
twine
1.Leave the butter out until soft.
2.Place in a bowl and add herbs, lemon and pepper corns, will well.
3.Prepare two parchment paper sheets and divide the butter unto the two sheets.
4.Using two spoons form the butter into a log.
5.Roll up the butter tightly and twist both ends, secure with twine.
Cool and ready to use.
Can be stored in the fridge for 1 month.
