
23 Sep Gin & Soda Cocktail with Pink Grapefruit Juice and Elderberry
This is the loveliest of cocktails! The soda gives it some sparkle without the added zip of tonic. I don’t know about you, but I just adore the combination of grapefruit and elderberry too!
Juniper berries are wonderful. I buy them a kilo at a time on Amazon and keep them in the freezer!

Serves 2
You will need:
1/2 pink grapefruit
6 to 8 ice cubes
2 teaspoons gin
11⁄4 teaspoons lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon elderflower syrup
soda water
6 juniper berries
2 sprigs of rosemary

- Place the glasses in the freezer a half an hour before serving.
- Squeeze the grapefruit half, and put juice in a shaker with ice cubes, gin, lemon juice, and elderflower syrup. Close tightly and shake well.
- Pour into two glasses, and top with soda water. Decorate with juniper berries and sprigs of rosemary.
