Chocolate Pretzel Christmas trees

These cute trees make great cake toppers and they also make great tasting Christmas party snacks, simply multiple the quantities to suit your needs.

12 Pretzel sticks

3 ½ ounces dark chocolate bits, melted

sea salt flakes (optional) see note*

Place pretzels on parchment paper lined trays, allowing 3-4 inches in between each.

Spoon melted chocolate into a plastic sandwich bag.  Seal top with an elastic band. Use scissors to cut a small section off one corner.

Working one at a time, pipe chocolate over pretzel to form a tree shape. Repeat with remaining pretzels. Refrigerate until hard.

*If serving with drinks you might like to sprinkle chocolate with sea salt flakes before refrigerating.
