Honey Baked Ricotta

I remember the first time I was in Italy and tasted this dish. I stayed at this amazing hotel in Firenze and the maid came in with breakfast in the morning. She set the table by the window so that I could look at the view while I had my breakfast. On the table was all kinds of italian goodies, including a bowl of something that looked like burned ricotta. I tasted it and it was a wonderful mix of ricotta and honey. By baking it they made the crust a little burned and the flavors mixed so well together. I make it whenever I feel like a little memory trip to Italy.
