17 Aug Devils on Horseback: Bacon Wrapped Dates stuffed with Blue Cheese & Almonds

These heavenly bites should be called ANGELS on Horseback in my opinion! Although, they ARE devilishly delish!

You will need the following – you need equal numbers of each item:

Thick sliced bacon
Pitted dates
Chunks of blue cheese
Almonds

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Stuff each date with an almond and a pinch of blue cheese.
  3. Wrap the bacon around each stuffed date and secure with a tooth pick.
  4. Place on a baking tray and bake for about 18-20 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked to your liking.
  5. Can be served warm or cold.
